Strathmill 12Y Flora Fauna – Originally built as a corn mill in 1823. It was converted into a distillery then known as Glenisla-Glenlivet in 1891 during the Victorian whisky boom. W.A. Gilbey & Son acquired the building in 1895 and gave it the name Strathmill. Probably because parts of the old mill remained intact.
