This is a blended malt named after Nikka’s founder Masataka Taketsuru, the father of Japanese whisky. He is the first Japanese who mastered whisky-making in Scotland and brought this expertise back to Japan. While being a disciplined craftsman, Masataka was also a person of curiosity and open-mindedness. this whisky has been created inspired by his personality to showcase an excuisite balance between elegant softness and deep complexity.
