Neus: De neus opent met frisse maritieme invloeden, zoete turf, sinaasappel en sigarenrook. Meer fruit met donkere vanille en rook van een biefstuk in de pan. Smaak: Prachtig in evenwicht. Oranje fruit, zilte zee invloeden en heerlijke turfrook. Gekuild gras met pittige kruiden en gezouten macadamia noten. Afdronk: De afdronk is gevuld met peper en prachtige turfrook.

Loch Gorm 2021 is a vatting of 24 Sherry Butts matured for a minimum of 9 Years. Loch Gorm is the name given to our annual sherry matured limited edition. Named after Islay’s largest freshwater lake neighbouring the distillery, the dark murky colour of the loch’s water is reflected in the rich coppery tones of our sherry matured Loch Gorm release.

Our Islay barley series has always been a mission. For many years now we’ve sought to showcase the phenomenon of “terroir” in single malt whisky – the belief that soil, climate, micro-climate, geographic orientation, natural influences and local weather systems will influence the quality and flavour profile of the spirit, making it a unique expression of ‘place’. Bruichladdich Islay barley 2011 is distilled from barley grown on six western and central Islay farms in 2010.

We zijn er weer bij! Bij het EK in 2016 en WK in 2018 moesten we vanaf de zijlijn toekijken, maar gelukkig heeft het Nederlandse voetbalelftal zich wel geplaatst voor het EK 2021! En om dit te vieren heeft onze Schotse vriend Big Peat zijn oranje hemd nu al uit de kast gehaald. Deze Schotse leeuw is niet te temmen! Het belooft daarom nu al een onvergetelijk EK te worden…

Gaelic for dawn, Moch is a crisp, assertive and bright Caol Ila. A smoky, single malt from a remote distillery on Scotland’s most famous Whisky Island Islay. Unreduced, sweet and salty with a balancing acidity, Caol Ila’s trademark smoky-antiseptic character is here. Best enjoyed over ice or with a bit of water. Or serve it neat. The first single malt from Caol Ila to be selected entirely on the basis of its taste, rather than age, cask wood, strength or finish.

This unpeated limited edition natural cask strength Caol Ila has been aged in three kinds of cask reserved for taste alone. Our Bruichladdich whisky range is unpeated, floral and complex. Trickle distilled from 100% Scottish barley using much of the original Victorian machinery, the methods employed by our craftsmen have continued unchanged. This is natural whisky, non-chill filtered and colouring free.

Triple Wood is an extension of the Quarter Cask expression and is special for its triple maturation, which creates a unique blend of our signature peat-smoked liquid with softer notes of fruit and spices. First maturing in ex-bourbon barrels, second maturation in quarter casks and then a third maturation in European oak casks previously used for Oloroso sherry.
