Ledaig 7 Years First Cask
When you sniff and taste this Ledaig you would swear you are on the south coast of Islay instead of Mull.
The nose is distinctly peaty, with marzipan, tinned pineapple, peaches and cream. Sea salt and tar.
The sweet peat smoke covers the back of the tongue and throat. Then raisins and milk chocolate take over.
The finish is fantastically satisfying. What a great whisky from the wrong (or right) island!
